Magnetize New Business, Part One

{Via}

I witness a lot of people trying to "make business happen," all the while struggling and striving, when they could be attracting and thriving. You see, it is possible to force people to do business with you, to bully them into submission, to give you a yes to shut you up when they really want to say "No!" and run the other direction.
But why on Earth would you want to do that? I know you wouldn't! You most likely want to work with, and serve, the exact right people at the exact right time, effortlessly exceeding your goals, achieving the mega-success you dream about, and {you know I can't resist!} turn your Vision to Reality! While I'm a believer in the Law of Attraction, I also believe, "As you pray, move your feet." In other words, with intention must come action. I know from experience there are actions you can take to magnify your desired positive results.
That's why I'm doing this 4-part series on Magnetizing New Business. For the next few posts, I'm going to share with you 8 keys to becoming irresistible to new business. Short of sending you to a charm-school intensive, these are the top tried-and-true methods for upping your approachability aptitude and magnetizing new business.

Gain Your Competitive Edge During any Economy

***After you read this post, be sure to visit me at my new                                     home here.***

Here are some interesting statistics to consider if you own or run a small business, are an entrepreneur or service provider. Did you know business coaching statistics show that applying the skills of a business coach is a great way to keep your business ahead during a recession?

It is predicted that for a small business owner to be able to work competitively on their own will become more challenging. During this recession and recovery especially, when the competition among companies is exhaustingly fierce, it becomes crucial to look for assistance to give you that competitive edge.

Business coaches give you an outside perspective on how your business is running. Because this is something most businesses do not bother to find out, this in itself gives you a lead over your competition.

A practice development research study revealed that 42% of businesses don't use a business coach. This same study found you can increase your profit margin by an average of 46% by using a business coach.

Thus 42% of businesses are missing out on a 46% profit increase.

If you're among that group, you may want to carefully consider if you can afford to not use a business coach. Compare the cost of a great coach against a 46% profit increase. For such a truly reasonable investment, your profits will literally soar. If your monthly revenue is $25,000, a 46% increase would be an additional $11,500. That's a 600% return on your investment (that is, if I'm your coach).

 becomes ...

An article posted on http://www.affiliatedragon.com stated that having your own internet business was the last weapon against a recession. However, as we've seen more businesses both off and online negatively affected by this slow economy, having your own business isn't a fool-proof plan. However, hiring a business coach can be the difference between those that struggle and those that survive and thrive.

To help them develop plans to build profit-growing businesses even during a slow economy, many business coaches show their clients how to navigate their way through changing economies, giving them yet another competitive advantage.

A study conducted by the International Coach Federation surveyed 210 coaching clients for demographic data, feedback, and opinions about the value and use of coaching. The study revealed that those who were coached had a positive change in personal work habits. This is instrumental to changing your business during a recession.

Below are some of the business coaching statistics gathered by this study.

62.4% smarter goal-setting
60.5% more balanced life
57.1% lower stress levels
52.4% more self-confidence
43.3% improvement in quality of life
25.7% more income

Those are just a few of the outcomes found through the study.

What we see is the number of people who are experiencing positive personal development skills to apply to their business. It's not just about dollars and cents, and most of the time companies who are struggling have a personal reason linked to their financial struggle.

Some more interesting business coaching statics were those that we don't immediately link with business. For example, 33.8% saw their health or fitness improve, 33.3% had improved family relationships, and 25.7% stopped a bad habit.

Although we don't immediately associate something like stopping a bad habit to having an effect on our business, the fact is that being lethargic, angry, frustrated or stressed can affect your work habits. To find out what may be keeping them from advancing, business professionals can turn to business coaching. Sometimes it's a simple as learning how to organize their office in a more effective and efficient manner.

The business coaching statistics found in this study prove that even during a recession, businesses that use coaches can still thrive when they take advantage of the skills offered by a business coach.

Here's what one of my coaching clients had to say:

"Honoree changed my personal and professional life. I hired Coach Honoree to assist me in transitioning to a new firm and the results were amazing. She helped me focus on growing my business with massive action and she held me accountable with a professional touch...never allowing me to settle for mediocre results. My business grew 63% in 100 days. I recommend Coach Honoree to any business professional looking to better their best...I consider her a partner and friend." ~Tim McElroy, Senior Wealth Management Consultant, Merrill Lynch, Las Vegas

Perhaps it's time you engaged a coach to increase your success?

MASTER STRATEGY #1: ENVISIONING YOUR VISION

At my daughter’s karate school, her instructor repeats over and over: “Focus on the target!” Whatever stage of business you find yourself in, if you haven’t defined a clear precise vision up to this point, now is the time to create one.
Vision is what you see in your mind’s eye, not something you see externally. Do you go on a trip without knowing your destination? Of course not. The first master strategy is creating your vision. Personally, this is my favorite strategy. You will find it to be a most exciting strategy and big fun to put together.
At first, the process and outcomes of visioning may seem vague and intangible. But the long-term benefits are beneficial, substantial, and the results can be simply amazing.
Visioning breaks you out of boundary thinking. As you open your mind and your mind’s eye to new possibilities, you will begin to shed previous limitations.
Visioning provides continuity and avoids the stutter effect of planning fits and starts. Having a defined, clear vision that is reviewed often – I recommend daily – will help you avoid “New Year’s Eve Syndrome” … where goals are set, then forgotten in about two weeks (until the next New Year)!
Your vision automatically identifies your future direction and purpose. It grabs hold of your interest, strengthens your commitment and promotes laser-like focus. When there is a clear picture in your mind of where you’re going, it is always there, accessible -- readily available to pull you in the right direction.
Visioning encourages openness to unique and creative solutions. As you hold your clearly defined vision, the ways to make that vision happen become clear. Your subconscious mind works on your behalf to spot potential opportunities, prospects, and possibilities you might otherwise have missed.
Visioning promotes and builds confidence. Have you ever noticed how a person who has a purpose and a vision carries themselves in a certain way? They are positive, upbeat, and yes, confident. Your confidence is magnetic, attracting to you your clearly defined vision.

Coach’s Observation: Here’s what happens when you take control of your environment, including everyone and everything in it:

  • You’ll suddenly have tons of more energy! Things will happen faster, easier, and better than ever before.
  • You will be much more creative!
  • You’ll create synergy with the old and new people in your life, which will automatically take you higher.
  • You’ll have much less stress! As you streamline the details of your life, you get rid of the old baggage and create more room for new and exciting opportunities.
In coaching, we talk a lot about “tolerations.” Tolerations are those things that zap your energy, annoy you, and drain away your effectiveness, happiness and success. They make you less attractive to yourself, and therefore, less attractive to others. You have three choices with tolerations: change them, eliminate them, or accept them.
Your environment, including the people in it, is crucial to your success or failure. Think about each person in your life: are they supportive of your vision? Your goals? Do they ask you empowering, and if necessary, tough questions? Or do they predict failure, doom or worse? Be aware of what your friends, family, and associates bring to your life. If they are not empowering you to be your best, perhaps its time for them to go! You won’t need to necessarily usher people out of your life, just keep your distance. Look at it this way: there are many people you want to stay in touch with, people you admire … Those relationships that are no longer in your best interest can be allowed to fade away. It’s that easy.
Is your home your sanctuary? Do you feel comfortable, relaxed, creative and alive there? If not, make it the way you want it to be. Again, it is your life!
By taking control of your immediate environment, you reclaim your personal power and set a healthy focused foundation for your future.
“Surround yourself with people who are going to lift you higher.” ~Oprah Winfrey
